Portup Update error

Hi guys my computer is connected to the internet but Portup sees it as offline and gives me this error ( see attached) when i try to run it. I have disabled the firewall but it still gives me the same error.

I also am getting this error on ver 2.5.1.

It has been run successfully already. The computer is definitely online. (I'm writing this reply) No matter what I do it always stills says it has to run run online first, even though it has and it is.

Any ideas?

This is a very useful tool so I hope it becomes robust enough to actually be used. I haven't had a successful Win10 update for 3-4 months. I guess SW companies don't care anymore about anyone who has no access to high speed internet.

I think there was an update pending but not completing? I re-booted and it finished that install and after re-booting windows portup was then willing to run and find internet.
