Google has recently announced that Portugal will be one of the few countries where developers will be able to sell their apps in the Chrome Web Store.

This means that Portuguese webapp developers will have an easy way to reach the ever growing international Chrome user base, and more importantly, a much simpler way to charge for their apps.

Paul Kinlan, who some you might have already met in the HTML5 hackathon last year in Porto, is a Google Developer Advocate based in London and specializing in Chrome, HTML5 and the Chrome Web Store.

Paul will be talking about the international rollout of the Chrome Web Store, and about all the cool stuff that's happening with Chrome and HTML5.

We'd also like to invite all Portuguese Web Developers to share what they've been doing and what are their thoughts on Chrome, HTML5, Web Stores, and web development in general.

Each will get a five minute slot (no slide deck, let's keep it smooth and try to get as many people as possible to talk).

The event starts at 7 pm (try to be there a bit earlier) at Bella Lisa Elevador - Elevador de Santa Justa, in downtown Lisbon, and will end somewhere around midnight. Food and drinks will be served.

The event is free, but registration is mandatory. Be sure to select the correct ticket type (just attending or I want to to talk about my webapps).

When: March, 15 2011 - 7 pm - midnight

Where: Bella Lisa Elevador, Lisbon (Largo do Carmo, Santa Justa lift)
