Weekend Running Plans

Anyone interested in joining me?

Saturday: 6hr run in the Gorge (time and place TBD)
Sunday: 4hr run in Forest Park (most likely start at Newberry Road)

I might join you for Saturday! Sunday I'm going up to Mt. Hood with a running group for a ~20 miler.

I know Forest Park pretty well, how many miles do you cover in about 4
hours on a training run? I have had a very soft summer, but I am
curious still what it would take not puke on your shoes while trying
to keep up:)

Hey Dan, I expect to cover around 20-25 miles.  It depends on how my body recovers from the 6 hour run in the Gorge Saturday.  I'm training for a 50 miler on October 9th.  I plan to start on the North end and doing a 'clock chime' i.e. start at Germantown, run north to Newberry, then back.  That enables me to leave some water/nutrition at the car.
 
My cell is 804-240-1615 so give me a ring if you want to join and of course I'll be going pretty darn slow after 35ish miles in the Gorge!  FYI, I did the entire WW plus 10 in 7 hours a couple of weekends ago....

Cool.  Give me a call.  I plan to start at Wahkeena and run up to Larch Mt. then perhaps over to Angels Rest, then maybe over to Multnomah Falls, etc.
 
I'll be going pretty darn slow but we can map it out and go at our own paces.  Want to try to plan a place to drop stuff so we could carry more up to one of the intersections and stash stuff for when we come back through.
