Hi everyone, this is Jinny Macrae with the Portland Old Time Music Gathering.  I realize after reading this newsletter that I need to tell you the time that Shape Note Singing will happen at the Gathering.
1:00-2:30 pm on Saturday, Jan. 17 in the Abbey Studio of the Alberta Abbey, 126 NE Alberta St.  This is the same room that you have done it in previously, it's just got a new name now (it used to be called The Third Rail Theatre Company Room).  It's about half way down the basement stairs on the big landing.
We'll have a special day time wristband for all of you so when you arrive at the Alberta Abbey go up the stairs in the front entrance to the table marked Performers and Volunteers.  Just say you're with the Shape Note Singers.  The wristband will get you into anything going on up till 6:00 pm.  Evening events are a separate ticket.
Thank you all so much for agreeing to sing at the Gathering.  We're so glad you can do it.
