Portland Art Museum Singers Count

Hello singers,

The museum is asking me for a count of singers, and so far 31 singers have signed up to sing November 22 and/or November 23rd at 3:30 at Portland Art Museum. Here's the website with all the details of the Grand Opening. 

If you are not yet on the list of singers but would like to be, please reply to let me know and add yourself to this document to confirm which day (or both). We will get some kind of entry bracelet for the museum, and access to a special green-room place to stash our stuff. I don't yet know if drop-in will be an option, as event tickets are being sold in advance.

Here's the revised FINAL COUNT LIST for the Portland Art Museum singing on November 22 and 23-- please make sure you are on it, if you plan to sing with us.  Singing in the Art Museum is more complicated than in a public space, so if you aren't on the list, you won't be able to enter (unless you reserve a free ticket, which are going fast!)

Also, please double-check to make sure any guests or fellow-singers you invited are on the list, if they plan to participate. If you can only make one day, please make sure that's recorded in this document here. We're reaching close to our maximum number, so let me know asap if we need to add anyone to the list!

We are now at 44 singers for the Portland Art Museum! ✨ I'm sending in the final count at the end of today, and 45 is our cap anyway.

If you missed the chance to sign up, or later realize you signed up but can't attend, please email the list to see if someone else wants to take your spot, or to give you their spot for one of the days.

Singers will be asked to show up at the Museum an hour before we sing, at 2:30 on both November 22 and 23. We can meet outside the museum at 2:15 to distribute entry bands-- though I'll likely be able to get those to folks at the 11/16 Waverly singing, for those who are there.

There will be more updates when it gets closer, but that's it for now. This should be fun!

Hi all,

We are starting a "standby" list for folks who want to sing at the museum, but didn't sign up in time.

I won't have the bandwidth to manage all the possible changes to this list, so I need your help.

If you are looking for a spot or if you can offer a spot, please check out the standby list and coordinate directly. Add yourself to the list and reach out to that singer. You will also need to make sure to get the entry bracelet (or whatever the entry item is) from the singer who signed up.

You can also email the PoSH list using this thread to ask/offer a spot-- but please first keep an eye on this list of folks who have already requested to sing.

Unofficially, a third option is to reserve a ticket for that day and just show up and sing. Tickets are going quickly.

It seems likely that everyone will be able to sing at least one day, if everyone is attentive and willing to offer up spots if they aren't able to sing.

I'm willing to look at this list at the Saturday singing, retrieve extra entry bracelets and distribute to folks who are planning to sing Sunday-- if that helps with some coordination.

Update about Portland Art Museum singing final count and entry:

We currently have 50 entry bracelets. We will be allowed 40 chairs in the hollow square each day. I'm hoping we can rotate seats each day, so that all singers who want to are able to sing and sit in the hollow square at some point in the weekend.

If you have an entry bracelet, you will be able to enter the museum and participate either/both days. 

We *can* get more entry bracelets if there are folks not on this list who would like to be there, but this doesn't guarantee a seat in the hollow square.

Please double-check to make sure you are on this list if you'd like to sing with us at the Portland Art Museum 11/22 and/or 11/23. (I'm cross-referencing several lists, and it's extremely likely that I've missed someone)
