Thank you and COVID update

Hi all,

Thank you so much for a wonderful Convention this past weekend. Whether you had an official “job” or not, everyone put in a ton of work - cooking, hosting, setting up, cleaning up - and I think it paid off!

So far, we’ve had two reports of positive Covid tests:

1. a singer who was at the Convention for a few hours Sunday morning. They tested negative and were symptom free on Sunday, but started feeling ill on Monday and tested positive in the afternoon/evening (this was mentioned in a previous email thread and on the Facebook group and event)

2. a singer who was at the Convention the full weekend, and at the Sunday social at Baerlic. They didn’t start to feel ill until Tuesday and tested negative then, but tested positive today (Wednesday) on a PCR test.

Please remain cautious and take a test if you feel at all sick. 

Consider masking and/or isolation until Friday, even if you don't have symptoms. 

Please let me know personally (i.e. don’t reply all to the group email), should you develop a positive test.

FYI, we had one more positive Covid test today, with mild symptoms reported. As far as I know, that means we've had 3 positive Covid tests.
