Hello, singers --
Since there was quite a bit of interest expressed last week, we'll be having a Fifth Sunday singing this weekend!
Time: 3/29, 4-6pm. We'll start with SH 448b at 4 on the dot, but come whenever you can (...but not before 3:45, please).
Book: Sacred Harp 2025 Edition *and* Shenandoah Harmony. Open call from either book both hours; we should have loaners available if needed.
Location: My & Tom T's living room. We're in North Tabor, extremely close to the #20 and #71 bus lines, and there's usually a reasonable amount of street parking available.
Please email (katel...@gmail.com) or text (503-741-9207) me for our exact address.
Logistics: Our space is not huge, but we have existing seats for at least 12, and can definitely squeeze in some more chairs plus floor seating. If it's easy for you to bring an extra folding chair, we'd appreciate it! (We'll try to find another emergency backup plan if it's looking like standing-room-only numbers of singers want to come.)
We'll have various tea, some fizzy water, delicious Portland tap water, and possibly a snack on hand; please feel free to bring anything else at all that you'd like to drink/eat/share.
Please note: We do have two cats, so you might not be comfortable if you're particularly allergic. The cats may or may not decide to sing with us.
As usual, if you're experiencing any possible cold or COVID symptoms at all, please stay home -- we'll miss singing with you, but the risks of getting each other sick are extra high in a small space.
You can contact me (Kate-Laurel) if you have any questions -- we're both looking forward to singing with you here!
