No Kings protest this Saturday - possible traffic

Hi all,

This Saturday in Portland there is going to be a “No Kings” protest and march.

I don’t think it will much affect our arrival at Convention, as from what I’ve seen the earliest gathering times for the protest are 10:30am.

However, I think it may cause traffic when we get out of our singing at 3pm. I expect that most of the protest will be downtown/on the central east side, so nowhere close to the Laurelhurst Club, but for anyone attempting to travel west across the river you might run into traffic.

I would guess that north/south travel would be less affected, but it’s hard to say for sure. It’s also possible the protest will be wrapped up by 3pm.
