FoodHub’s “Lean Against the Truck”

FoodHub is hosting a regional food foraging event that might help hold
you over until next year’s Farmer Chef Connection! Deemed “face time
without the frills”, FoodHub’s Lean Against the Truck is an event
designed to give you the opportunity to do just that – meet regional
producers, sample product and spend some time “leaning against the
truck” getting to know the people behind the products - without the
distractions of a consumer farmers’ market.

Lean Against the Truck

Whole Foods Market Laurelhurst, Portland


Whole Foods Market Laurelhurst has donated their parking lot and
FoodHub Sellers will pull up their trucks and sample/sell out the
back. Lean Against the Truck will be a FoodHub foraging event open to
chefs and other wholesale buyers only. No prepared food vendors or
consumers - this event is just to help you connect with producers and
source great local product for your fall and holiday menus. If you
haven’t already, I encourage you to join FoodHub for FREE www.food-hub.org
to get the updated list of producers attending and product available
for pick-up or purchase that day.
