Thank you for registering for the Barefoot 5k at the Pineland Farms Trail Running Festival on Saturday, 5/29. We're very pleased with the response to this event. So far 27 people have registered and more are coming!
 
We could use your help and would like everyone on the list below to respond to this request for information. Please send an email to er...@tri-maine.com or call 207-210-8655 and let me know which division in the Barefoot 5k you would like to enter:
 
1) barefoot
2) shod (i.e. Vibram FiveFingers, huraches, water/aqua shoes)
 
Also if you belong to a club and would like the club name to appear next to the final results please send that information too.

We would also like to invite you to attend the barefoot and minimalistic running seminar on Saturday 5/29 starting at 2pm. Vibram FiveFingers will be there to show off their lastest models and answer questions. We'll also have Preston Curtis, vetran barefoot runner and organizer of the Metro Boston Barefoot Runners lead a discussion and hands-on demonstration. Preston will explain proper running techniques and discuss some of the physical, mental, and social barriers-to-entry associated with barefoot running.
