Hi everyone,

If you aren't aware, Scrapinghub is participating in Google Summer of Code 2016 under the PSF umbrella.
Portia is one of the projects we'll be mentoring for.

If you're a student, available during the summer, and you have cool idea(s) to make Portia more awesome, why not submit your proposal?
Checkout the ideas page with an example project we'd like to see happen (this is just one idea, you can come up with a different project related to Portia).
Read PSF guidlelines for GSoC before applying and be creative!

Looking forward to reading your ideas!

Have a great weekend everyone.

Paul.

Hello all,

Deadline for submitting your final GSoC 2016 proposals is tomorrow Friday March 25, 19:00 UTC.
Portia is running under the Python Software Foundation, with mentors from Scrapinghub.
Don't wait until the last minute, you can submit a final PDF proposal (which you can still update after if needed, but you'll have one in the system before the deadline)

Remember: drafts don't count, the proposal needs to be "final"

Cheers,
Paul.
