WCM Plugins Unexpected Behaviour

Hi,

Been long time, how are you all? Especially my Mentor Praveen Kumar Kusuma :-)

Issue: NotEquals plugin is working fine when any of the text parameter is string constant where as failing to render upon setting dynamic values using tags as shown below.

Working Example: [Plugin:NotEquals text1="value" text2="[Property Name of content]"] HTML Code [/Plugin:NotEquals]

Rendered Output: Html Code

Failing Scenario: [Plugin:NotEquals text1="[custom plugin]" text2="[Property Name of content]"] HTML Code [/Plugin:NotEquals]

Rendered Output: [Plugin:NotEquals text1="value" text2="value"][/Plugin:NotEquals]

Please let know if "NotEquals" plugin works only with one constant and one dynamic params ?

Server Environment: 

Name                 WAS ND

Version               8.0.0.13

Name           IBM WebSphere Portal MultiPlatform

Version        8.0.0.1

Name           IBM Web Content Manager

Version        8.0.0.1

Hi Syed,

OOB plugins works for text comparisons I guess, and when you're writing custom plugin, why don't you write complete code instead of using custom plugin in OOB plugin?
