Hello,

I set to work this project again to introduce my new project. This release 0.7 is an intermediate release for 0.8 which will be based on the Spheres and not backward compatible. Many improvements and bug fixes are included and Vert.x is supported as a bridge.

I've worked on new project for several months, Spheres, that is a realtime web application framework that runs on the JVM. This incomplete project is close to what the Atmosphere does now. It is designed to be a base framework for high level protocol framework like portal and socket.io and to run on any server and be scalable by deploying to the cloud.

Accordingly, this project will be completely rewritten based on the Spheres and affect API. Most of all, support for annotation and DI framework will be dropped to make the project light. You can run a sample portal application provided by the Spheres that consists of Portal, Vert.x, and Hazelcast.

Thanks,
