However, because students have limited permissions on our campus
computers, sometimes when they try to run portable python (2.5.4),
they get a message "Unidentified Publisher" which then requires them
to enter a username with administrator permissions. Other programs on
their jump drives -- notably LyTeX -- do not have this problem. If
this is easy to fix, it would be great!! But we'll continue to use
anyways because I've provided them a workaround which works in 2 labs
I have access to.
The second request is very modest -- currently I install Sympy in the
version I make available for them, but it would be nice if it was
included in the download versions. It works great so far and the
students actually prefer sympy to other commercial computer algebra
systems that we also use.

second one, SymPy is added to the list of requested packages (http://
spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=psLYue3vjKonXr_kPG6pQWA) I will see
what I can do for the next release
