ThumbnailUrl with private access

Hi all,

I'm developing a Flex application that uses the Portable Contacts API
to get Google Contacts. I'm getting all the thumbnailUrl's from the
contacts, but when I'm trying to get them, i get an http 404 error.
(Not found in this server)

I see two kinds of links (http://www.google.com/ig/c/photos/
private/..... and http://www.google.com/ig/c/photos/public/.... ) and
i can get the image from all of them using a browser.

But using URLRequest in Flex, i can only get the ones with public on
the link. Is it necessary to create a OAuth session in another API to
download private thumbnails?
