ATTENTION!!

This forum is inherently chaotic because (a) of its HORRIBLE limited feature set, but mostly because (b) it is a record of the event-by-event evolution of several complex devices. As this diary below shows so clearly, the path of true innovation is rarely a straight line. Any endeavor that is worth doing is worth doing because of what we learn along the way. And if our goal is to produce the best possible outcome, the knowledge discovered along the way requires us to back up and begin again. That has happened about six times during the December 2012 burst of activity here.
Therefore, if what you want is "just the answer", this is definitely NOT the place to look for it! Once we have "the answer", it will appear nicely, simply, and cleanly presented over on "The Quiet Canine" pages of the grc.com site: http://www.grc.com/tqc/TheQuietCanine.htm
