Veterans' Health Survey Participants Needed

CommonHealth ACTION launched an online survey in partnership with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology to learn and understand veterans’ experiences upon returning home and/or exiting the military.  We are seeking information on the types of support they have received, any challenges they have encountered, any unmet needs or service gaps that they have experienced, and their ideas about potential solutions to ensure all veterans are supported in their transition.  We would appreciate anything you can do to help us promote the survey to your networks, including posting it on list serves, LinkedIn, and social media:

Participants needed for Veterans' Health Survey:  If you and/or someone you know is a veteran of the U.S. armed forces of any era, regardless of discharge status, or whether you were deployed or not deployed, we encourage you to participate in our survey and/or share it among your networks by clicking on the link: http://conta.cc/TKfuJG

Project Overview

http://ih.constantcontact.com/fs178/1101963461088/img/225.jpgCommonHealth ACTION and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology are conducting a survey consisting of U.S. veterans to learn and understand their experience upon returning home and/or exiting the military.  We are seeking information on the types of support they have received, any challenges they have encountered, any unmet needs or service gaps that you have experienced, and their ideas about potential solutions to ensure all veterans are supported in their transition.

In the United States, there are more than 21 million veterans across all war eras.  As armed forces continue to scale back, the number of retiring and returning service members is expected to grow exponentially in forthcoming years, suggesting a greater demand to provide adequate support services for all veteran populations.  We hope the survey will inform veterans and their families, professionals helping veterans, decision-makers, and the general population about the unique challenges faced by U.S. female veterans as well as identify potential solutions to address these issues.
