Communicating Public Health in the Media - Registration closes May 1

Communicating Public Health in the Media is being offered through the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health from June 16-20. The course has expanded to include a distance-learning option.

 

The course is of use to: 

 

·       Doctors and scientists who are looking to jump into the public conversation about health and policy

·       Academics who are eager to extend their writing from peer-reviewed journals to general-interest media outlets

·       Researchers searching for non-jargony language to make their work matter to people who aren't scientists

·       Communications specialists who want to make public health compelling and accessible to non-experts
