Today is a special day, a day that marks a new beginning for our beloved game. We want to sincerely thank all of you who have been with us throughout the years, from the first moments of exploration in the wild regions of Alaska in Gold Rush: The Game. Your support, dedication, and passion have been incredible sources of inspiration for our team.
Today, we announce the transition to a completely new chapter, which we embark upon under a new name: Gold Mining Simulator. This name change not only reflects a new stage in the history of our game but also symbolizes our commitment to delivering even more exciting and satisfying experiences to you.
We would also like to express our gratitude to Discovery, which has been an extraordinary inspiration for our project. Their spirit of adventure and exploration of uncharted territories has significantly influenced what Gold Rush: The Game / now Gold Mining Simulator, has become today. Thank you for all the inspiring moments and the trust you have placed in us.
We want to pay special attention to our players using PlayStation and Xbox consoles. We know you have been eagerly awaiting upgrades and modernizations, so we guarantee that this update will be available to everyone soon. We have been working on it with full dedication for quite some time. This and the next ones we are planning in April will help make your gaming experience even more rewarding, and we promise to make every season exciting.
Experience harsh Alaskan Winter and get excited about new gold mining season with the first Spring breeze. Prices and items durability change throughout the year. Extreme temperatures can also harm your gold mining business.
We created a big, detailed world with four unique gold mining claims. On each, you will find a fully deformable terrain. Each fragment of our world has its own background story you can discover in your spare time.
Gold Mining Simulator officially supports Keyboard+Mouse, as well as Xbox One and PlayStation 4 gamepads. There is no official support for steering wheels and joysticks, but it might be possible to use third-party emulators to integrate those controllers with the game. There is, however, no possibility to use two same joysticks to play.
Gold Miner is a classic casual mining game reminiscent of the early 2000s that has captivated players for years. In this timeless adventure, you'll seek to collect gold, stones, and minerals to reach your daily goal and amass wealth beyond your wildest dreams. With each successful mining expedition, you'll earn money that can be used to purchase valuable upgrades, including explosives that allow you to mine more efficiently than ever before. And now, thanks to its HTML5 port, you can enjoy the game on both your desktop and in your browser, anytime and anywhere you please! How to Play Gold MinerEach level of this game is more or less the same, but what varies greatly is the difficulty level. You are a gold miner and are positioned at the top of the game with a crane and hook to grab as many valuable objects as possible. Some of the objects you will want to target are gold chunks, diamonds, animals carrying diamonds, money bags, and more. There are also nonprecious metals surrounding the gold and diamonds - that's where your skill comes into play. You will need to avoid them either or capture them strategically -- yes, you can get these too, though they are of very little value, so they are mostly obstacles and time wasters.
Well, in this case, all that glimmers is pretty much gold, but not all gold chunks have the same value. Some of the heavier pieces may be worth $500 or more, but some of the same size may be worth significantly less. This is why you need to grab as much as possible to meet your target. When in doubt -- go for the diamonds. You can't go (too) wrong with diamonds.
Each level has a monetary goal. The first round goal is to collect $650 worth of precious stones and metals. This is easy enough if you keep your eye on the prize, but as the levels increase, the amount of money you need to make from gold and precious stones to complete the level keeps increasing, so a bit of skill is necessary.
Between each level, you will be met with a shopkeeper trying to sell you different items to help you at the next level. Prices vary significantly. Sometimes, a high price can indicate that you may need to use the item in the next round. Sometimes, the shopkeeper is just scamming you with jacked-up prices.
Monetary rewards are cumulative, so you carry over what you made in the previous round to the next round. If you have plenty of money to spare and have reached or nearly reached your goal for the next round, splurge on some of the higher-priced items. You may be able to increase your earnings significantly.
If you enjoy casual games, we have plenty to choose from! Try Little Alchemy, where you combine elements to create new ones and unlock the mysteries of the universe. For a relaxing experience, Tiny Fishing, where you draw your line and hook as many fish as possible. If you're up for a challenge, Getting Over It tests your physics and skill as you carefully climb a mountain with a hammer.
