For the past fourteen years, Porchlight has been San Francisco's premier storytelling series. Each month, co-founders Beth Lisick and Arline Klatte invite six people to tell ten-minute true stories without using notes or memorization. Past storytellers include some of the area's most entertaining school bus drivers, mushroom hunters, politicians, socialites, sex workers, musicians, authors, systems analysts, and social workers. 

This special SF Sketchfest edition will at the fabulous Oasis, San Francisco's hottest new nightclub in the heart of the SOMA district. Set in an 8,000 square foot converted gay boathouse, Oasis offers an unforgettable nightlife experience.


Performers for Friday:

Erin Foley is a comedic actress, comedian, and writer. Foley is the host of "Mixologist And A Movie" on Lifetime and is a cast member on season one of "How to Be A Grown-Up" on Tru Tv. As a seasoned comedian, she has her own "Comedy Central Presents," as well as having been on "Conan," "@ Midnight," "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," "Chelsea Lately," "Arsenio Hall" and "Last Call With Carson Daly." 

Raised in Detroit, Karla Martin is a Bay Area-based seasoned executive strategist and business advisor with a successful track record of helping CEOs on their most significant strategic and operating decisions.  She was most recently the Director of Global Business Strategy at Google and prior to that had a 17-year career at Booz Allen Hamilton, where she was a Vice President. 

Dana Merwin was born and raised in the swamps of Georgia. She worked in film and television production in Los Angeles before migrating to San Francisco to work for Al Jazeera America. She's now a freelance producer.  She’s performed at The Moth Grand Slam LA, studied at The Upright Citizens Brigade, the Clown School of San Francisco and can be seen regularly at Endgames Improv. Her favorite meal is whiskey and waffles.

Hailed as a modern day cross between Jackie Gleason, Don Rickles and Eckart Tolle. | | Eddie is a force of nature on stage, switching between social rage and self-doubt. His shows are an energetic combo of calm and chaos, blue-collar angst and sardonic enlightenment. Few comedians working today channel the power of the rant better than Eddie.

Mike Phirman is incredibly uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person, so he is going to write his bio in the second person. | | You are a musician and music producer who lives in Los Angeles. You were in a comedy music duo called "Hard 'n Phirm" that made a half-hour Comedy Central special. You love folding laundry and were born without a sense of smell. You’ve worked as a visual effects artist for TV shows, like CSI.
