It's our annual Sketchfest show!! And we are so excited to welcome these incredible storytellers to our stage!

Our spiritual father and patron saint Mr. Rogers famously said that in times of trouble, disaster, or treasonous collusion with a foreign government it can be a salve to LOOK FOR THE HELPERS amidst the darkness and destruction. Come out and find out how five people in the funny business are surviving this moment.

Guy Branum

Guy Branum is a comedian best known for his appearances on "Chelsea Lately," "@Midnight," "The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore," and "The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail." He is the creator and host for the new truTV show "Talk Show The Game Show" and is a writer and producer for Hulu’s "The Mindy Project." Guy has written for lots of TV shows including "Another Period," "Billy on the Street" and "Awkward." He’s also written culture and political commentary for Slate.com and The New York Times, and his pop culture roundtable podcast "Pop Rocket" was named one of the best new podcasts of 2015 by iTunes. Guy’s debut comedy album, "Effable," was #1 on iTunes and Billboard charts, and The New York Times called it “a contender for the best comedy special of 2015.”Guy’s comedy is a mix of cultural observational comedy and personal narrative. He’s known for strong takes, aggressive crowd work, and a willingness to share a bit too much of himself. Paul F. Tompkins has called him “pointed and powerful” and the AV Club notes “Branum scor[es] consistent comic points through personal pain.

Lucy Davis
Lucy’s first job as an actress was at the age of 20, when she played Maria Lucas in the BBC/A&E adaptation of “Pride and Prejudice,” with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle.

A few years later, she starred in the Golden Globe winning BBC comedy “The Office,” playing Dawn Tinsley. Shortly after this she played Dianne in Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright’s zombie movie “Shaun of the Dead.”

She is also part of Pamela Adlon and Louis CK’s comedy drama “Better Things” on FX. And more recently, she can be seen in the new DC movie “Wonder Woman,” where she plays Wonder Woman’s friend and Steve Trevor’s secretary – Etta Candy, and as Aunt Hilda in “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” on Netflix.

Jon Glaser
Jon Glaser is an actor and writer who created, starred in, and co-wrote the TV shows “Delocated,” “Neon Joe Werewolf Hunter”, and “Jon Glaser Loves Gear.” You may or may not recognize him as Councilman Jamm from “Parks and Recreation” or Laird from “Girls.” Other TV credits include “Inside Amy Schumer,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” and “Wonder Showzen.” Film credits include “Trainwreck,” “Be Kind Rewind,” and “Pootie Tang.” Cartoon voice work includes “Bob's Burgers,” “Archer,” “Lucy: Daughter of the Devil,” “TV Funhouse,” and “Aqua Teen Hunger Force.” He appeared as Video Cowboy in the ESPN web series “Mayne Street,” and he created, wrote, directed and starred in a series of web shorts for Comedy Central called “Tiny Hands.” As a writer and consultant, Glaser’s credits include “Inside Amy Schumer,” “Late Night with Conan O'Brien,” “The Dana Carvey Show,” and “Cheap Seats.” He has written several stories for The New York Times Magazine, and his writing has also appeared in ESPN The Magazine, The A.V. Club, and online for New York Magazine. His first book, My Dead Dad Was In ZZ Top, was published by Harper Perennial, and he wrote and directed the music video for Bob Mould’s “Star Machine.”

Ken Jennings
Ken Jennings is America's quiz show sweetheart, having won "Jeopardy!" a record 74 times in a row in 2004. Today he is the author of eleven books, including the New York Times-bestselling "Maphead" and "Because I Said So!," as well as the Junior Genius series for kids.

Maria Wojciechowski
Maria Wojciechowski is a Brooklyn-based stand-up comedian with a strong background of sketch, improv, dance, and music.

Originally from Mobile, AL, Maria has been praised by Theater is Easy for possessing “a sharp wit” and “a clarity of prose.” The Chicago Tribune noted she makes “room for abject silliness in the midst of talking about her issues” while applauded her for her “storytelling prowess.” 

Maria is one half of the sketch/musical comedy duo "Abbaria." She's an editor at Comedywire and is a cast member of the sketch group "All Female Reboot." She's previously worked as a staff-writer and performer for Seriously.TV.

Her Instagram @ILookLikeLauraDern1 has been featured in the New Yorker, the Chicago Tribune, and Entertainment Weekly. Maria has also appeared on the late Seeso's Schtick or Treat Special as Paula Poundstone.
