Eugenia Chien is the co-founder of Muni Diaries, a storytelling blog, live show, and weekly podcast where anyone can share a story about what happens on public transit in San Francisco. Over nearly a decade, Eugenia and her partners, Tara and Jeff, have referee'd Muni haiku battles, written Muni mad libs, and published stories from more than 4,000 San Francisco transit riders. In a previous life, Eugenia was a reporter and editor at New America Media and a some-time commentator for 91.7 KALW. When she's not blogging in her pajamas, you can find her eavesdropping on the 49-Van Ness or 1-California.
Hailing from McAllen, Texas, Matt Gonzalez has been living in San Francisco since 1991. He previously served a term as a city supervisor, once played bass guitar in a band that no one has heard of, and has spent the last decade picking up pieces of paper and wood that he makes art with. His virtually unknown poetry volume, "The Violet Suitcase", makes him technically eligible for a Nobel Prize in Literature. He currently works as a public defender, where he represents people mostly charged with murder. He remains best known for losing political contests, including the 2003 San Francisco mayor's race, and for telling a story at the very first Porchlight held at the Hemlock Tavern.
Ginger Murray is a writer and performer. A once SF Weekly columnist and founder of Whore! magazine, she now spends far too much time in her kitchen reading political diatribes. Dominic Riley is a bookbinder, artist, teacher and writer. His latest research has been into the Great Bookbinding Strike of 1786. Did you know that bookbinders were the first artisans to go on strike in England? And the first to form a Trade Union? And the first to pave the way for the forty-hour week? No, well you should. Dominic is here for the summer, teaching at the Center for the Book, and enjoying the convivial company of the noblerfolk of this beleaguered land.

Cintra Wilson is originally from San Francisco, where she spent several years performing and writing for the stage. These writings begat journalistic writings, which in turn begat books and occasional forays into TV and screenwriting. After a very brief pit-stop in LA, she moved to New York, for obvious reasons.
