One of our repair specialties is the complete assessment, replacement, adjustment, and safeguarding of the garage door cable system. The garage door cables are designed to provide one purpose. Without them, your garage door becomes a dangerous falling trap that can inflict serious personal injury, destruction of property, and subsequent domino effect damage to their assisting parts. So, when you need a specialist on-site that can dedicate a wealth of professional experience, call your garage door problem solvers at
1-888-989-8758. We will provide five-star service for all your garage door needs.
The garage door cable connects the spring or torsion system to the garage door. Depending on your springs style, the cables are either wound around like fishing line on a spool or threaded up over a transfer plate or drum. Because they are so pulley-dependent, the cables are designed to match their specific mates. A garage door cable repair is a quick process when you have the correct crew with the foresight to also adjust any companion parts. The indicating signs of a broken cable are in the garage door's operation. If your door will not open and the remote is operational, you have either a damaged spring or a broken, loose, or tangled cable. Replacing or repairing a cable is a moderately challenging job and should be performed by a trained professional. Also, when undertaking your garage door cable repair, we will normally replace both as these cables share the same life cycle right from manufacturer installation. You can take preventive steps to increase the life, performance, and durability of the garage door cables by spending a few minutes in a home maintenance system check
More than just a spring or coil muscle, a garage door cable is an integral component when it comes to being a safety line. They prevent the garage door from falling from an upward position, align the door on track as it cycles, and even assist with theft-deterrent. When your garage door cable becomes unstable, the risk of losing more than just a garage door increases tremendously.

The City of Salem has posted a number of parking spaces downtown as 15-minute parking only, to pick up take-out orders from downtown restaurants. Please do not park in any of these signed spaces for more than 15 minutes.
From downtown Salem, driving northeast, Derby Street turns into Fort Avenue. The Salem Trolley runs tours to Salem Willows and can provide transportation to the downtown for the cost of their ticket prices. RV camping is available seasonally at Winter Island Maritime Park.
The City has eight electric vehicle charging stations in the Museum Place and South Harbor Garages. These ChargePoint Network Coulomb Technologies Charging Stations are dual output units which allow for electric vehicles to plug-in via a standard SAEJ J1772 connector and fixed 18-foot cable, fully charging a vehicle in four to six hours. Each garage has four charging stations providing access for up to eight parking spots of electric vehicle parking.
Weekday parking fee is $4, Weekends are $2. Trains run hourly between Beverly and Salem. UPDATE due to bridge closure take either Route 62 or Route 1A to access the Beverly MBTA Garage. Note that the Hall-Whitaker Bridge on Bridge Street in Beverly is closed.
Since the demand for parking in Cambridge exceeds the available supply of spaces, the City encourages turnover of parking spaces with parking meters, pay stations and garage fees and Parking Control Officers monitor all areas to enforce the City's Traffic Regulations.
