I know I can go through and download all the .js files that geogebra references and then update the code so that it references my local copy instead of the one on geogebra's servers. But is that safe?
In the calculator view, everything automagically sorted itself into these collapsible categories which has made this specific project so much easier to work with (both in trying to find certain functions and also massively reducing the lag produced by the project).
I am using a MacBook Pro and Geogebra 5. Everytime I use the probability calculator, Geogebra freezes up and I can't do anything unless I force the program to shut down. This happens every single time and therefore I can't use the probability calculator. Please help!
I tried to solve some equations with a sine function using the graphing calculator in the calculator suite. In the settings, the mode was set to "degree". This worked nice until i added a factor right before the "x" in the argument in the sine function. It would be great, if this would also give the results in degree, when the settings are set to degree.
Use GeoGebra Graphing Calculator to help students plot functions and solve equations individually or in pairs. Students can analyze class data and perform a linear regression to find the line of best fit. Or, they can observe transformations with sliders. Available as a free app and web-based tool, the graphing calculator is easy for students to access for use with homework. Make sure to guide students to the Help button for support on using each tool. When finished, students can share their screen with teachers directly from the app.
If you don't have graphing calculators to use during a test, try Exam Mode. Set in full-screen mode, this feature shows timer information during the exam and a red status bar will pop up if a student strays from the app. Be sure to check out the GeoGebra website for more lesson and activity ideas as well as the web-based version of this tool.
