I had been able to print on the Xerox WC 7835 on my network without any difficulty until I upgraded to Mac OS 10.13. The Apple website says that this printer is compatible with OS 10.13. I have deleted the printer and reinstalled it. I have deleted the printer files in the printer folder. Every time I try to print the printer pauses and says "Encryption credentials have expired." Any advice or similar experience?
Just in case anybody with a Pantom p2500 printer lands on this thread and has the same "Encryption credentials have expired." ... after chatting with their support they very quickly repondent with "our driver still not support to 10.13" ... "it still need to 1 or 2 month to test , when we get it will update it on our website at the first time ?"
Finally, on the spotlight search, type the word "pantum" and click on the wireless configuration tool. Follow the instructions. Choose your printer, then on the "USE" drop-down menu, choose your printer (example: Pantum P2500 series), then it will start to re-configure.
Open the printer's web interface - System Preferences, Printers & Scanners, select the printer, click on "Options and Supplies", and then "Show Printer Web Page". Here is where it is printer-specific: (somewhere) tell the printer to create a new self-signed encryption certificate.
Very pleased to find your post thanks. Spent ages trying to get my Pantum P2200W working with High Sierra, suspected the driver but no contact with Pantum. At least I know its not going to print anytime soon.
We are having problems printing from OS 10.13 to Xerox C8055. Getting error that account code is wrong or something like that. Xerox told us that it was because we were trying to print from Adobe Acrobat DC Mac which is 32 bit. We downloaded Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and it seemed to work mostly. So we may have to purchase this for some of our color printing.
But the tech didn't have us try from the browser and that is proving to be hit or miss. We're having to dive deep into the settings each time and enter an account code. And it doesn't save the info we enter.
I didn't manage to use this for wi-fi, but that's because I only have a cell phone hot spot for internet, and for some reason, the wireless config tool stalled trying to connect (perhaps because when I was connected to the printer's network, there was not actually a network connection).
i'm not sure where I found them on Xerox's site but I usually just download the .ppd file instead of the .deb package. During the install of the printer when it asks for a driver or ppd file, i point it to that.
The only one that does sound like a problem is:E: XeroxPrtDrv: malformed-deb-archive found 4 members instead of 3According to -deb-archive.htmlthat is a serious problem. I suspect the deb won't even work. You probably need to contact Xerox and let them know they have a malformed-deb-archive problem with those packages.
The second solution is the only way to use "advanced features" such as "secure printing" or "stapler"...In fact you have to run sudo xerxprtmgr and then configure an automatically found printer or add it manually (you need it's IP).After that, a printing queue will be added, and you'll have a nice GUI configuration tool (like in windows) to configure your queue... Which will appear in the printer list.
The only problem, is that you have to configure a custom queue for each custom parameter assocations...Don't hesitate if I can help more... I spent some time understanding the xerox driver concepts...
I hope this list has given you an idea of what to look for and where to start when your printer does not print. Every situation is different so these are general things to look at or try. For more specific information search the support page for your device, contact your local support centre or post your situation on the Community Support Forum.

I have a Xerox Phaser 3215. It is connected via Wi-Fi and was working fine. All of a sudden I could no longer scan or print (wirelessly). I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. The printer is discoverable (my computer sees it), but the printer will not connect.
