TODAY: POP RALLY FULL IMPLEMENTATION AMISTAD LAW

POP Members:

I am asking all POP members today to please attend  The People’s Organization For Progress March & Rally For Full Implementation of The Amistad Law And Teaching Black History In All NJ Public Schools On Monday, October 14, 2019, 1:00pm. starting at the Lincoln Monument, 12 Springfield Avenue, Newark, NJ.

The statue is located at the intersection of West Market Street and Springfield Avenue.

The rally is being held today on Indigenous People’s Day formerly known as the Columbus Day holiday.

Everyone that supports the Amistad Law and the teaching of Black Studies in all of our educational institutions is urged to attend.

This is a very important event. I am asking all members to please make every effort to attend. Please make calls and reach out to anyone you know that might be interested and ask them to attend also.

Please wear your POP shirts or sweatshirts. Members should arrive early at 12:30pm. For more information call 973 801-0001.
