df2genind error

I am trying to use df2genind like this:

obj <- df2genind(m1,ploidy = 2,sep = '',strata = m2_par_imp$mother)

and it throws this error in return:

Error in `.rowNamesDF<-`(x, value = value) : invalid 'row.names' length

I cannot figure out what is wrong. 

The df2genind works find if i do not include the strata option.

The m2_par_imp$mother vector is of correct length, so it should not be that one.

Help appreciated.
