Hi ,

I'm trying to use popoto.js for  a Digital Humanities project at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, USA. I've downloaded the examples several times and can only get the nodes to display, not the relationships. Is this because it is an Alpha release or should the relationships be working.

Thanks,

Yes the relationships should work in this release.
All the videos and examples shown in the website are made with this alpha release.

The relations are added using a right click on the node (which is not a common action on a web page).

The documentation on usages is still missing in this release and will be part of next release.

In the mean time, the following video explains some of the possible actions on the graph: https://vimeo.com/115401847

HI all folks, thanks for your kind attention

I tried this release using live example on popoto official site but none of them seem to work properly. Just one node is shown , no further action is possible

It seems like the Api Key for Factual has expired, no data are feed

Am I missing anything? Shouldn't a live example be supposed to work without any trick by end user ?

PS: Is it also possible ( or it will be with further release ) to add directly nodes and relationship via Popoto?

Thanks a lot anyway, it's a great idea !!

Hi,

I presume you are referring the live examples in this page. I checked all examples and they work properly with the defined nodes and relationships.
When you open the page, it is normal you see just one node which is your start point for navigation (Or did you mean the number of data for each node type?). The visualized data should be used from Neo4j Movie database.
Maybe it is good to check console logs or network traffic when you click a node, or + sign ? Are there any error messages?

Thanks.
