As many of you know, ONC and Audacious Inquiry (Ai) have been working with the popHealth community to transition the popHealth product to the open source community.  In reviewing the governance plan with the community, a number of individuals and organizations voiced a desire to consider a third party organization that could assist with the management of the popHealth product once it is fully transitioned to the community.  These management activities are primarily concerned with legal and financial aspects of managing the product and ideally the organization that works with the community on these management pieces will be a non-profit or not-for-profit (501(c)(3)) organization.  Two organizations, Open Health Tools (OHT) and Stewards of Change, are potentially interested in taking on this role and would like to meet with the popHealth community to learn more about the communities needs and provide you with information about their organization.  Preliminary information about each organization will be shared in advance of the meetings.

Each organization will meet with the community separately.  Please click here to provide us with at least two time slots (ideally more) that you are available to meet with each organization.  Ai and ONC are meeting with additional organizations and will schedule meetings between them and the community in the near future.

If you have any questions or suggestions for additional organizations, please let me know by emailing gmo...@ainq.com.

Thank you

We are scheduling two more meetings for the week of 5/12, one with Stewards of Change and the other with OEMR.  Please click here to provide us with at least two time slots (ideally more) that you are available to meet with each organization.  Additional information about each organization will be included in the meeting request.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Genevieve
