സിംഗപ്പൂര്‍ : ഇന്‍ഡൊനീഷ്യയില്‍ വനം കത്തിയുണ്ടായ പുകമഞ്ഞില്‍ സിംഗപ്പൂര്‍ മുങ്ങി. മലേഷ്യയുടെ ചില ഭാഗങ്ങളും പുകയില്‍ നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുകയാണ്. സംഭവത്തെ ചൊല്ലി ഇന്‍ഡൊനീഷ്യയും സിംഗപ്പൂരും ഇടഞ്ഞു. ഇന്‍ഡൊനീഷ്യയിലെ സുമാത്രയിലാണ് തീപടര്‍ന്നത്. കൃഷിഭൂമി തെളിച്ചെടുക്കാന്‍ കര്‍ഷകര്‍ തീയിട്ടതാണെന്നാണ് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്.
ആരോഗ്യത്തിന് ഹാനികരമായവിധം പുക പരന്നതോടെ സിംഗപ്പൂര്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്‍കി. ഇതോടെ സിംഗപ്പൂരില്‍ ജനജീവിതം അടച്ചിട്ട മുറികള്‍ക്കുള്ളിലായി. നാട് മുഴുവന്‍ പുക നിറഞ്ഞ് കാഴ്ചകള്‍ അവ്യക്തമാണ്. പുക മാറാന്‍ ആഴ്ചകള്‍ എടുക്കുമെന്ന് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. തീ പടരുന്നത് തടയാന്‍ ഇന്‍ഡൊനീഷ്യ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ശക്തമായ നടപടികളെടുക്കണമെന്ന് സിംഗപ്പൂര്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. എന്നാല്‍ സിംഗപ്പൂര്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ കുട്ടികളെ പോലെ പെരുമാറുകയാണെന്നാണ് ഇന്‍ഡൊനീഷ്യയുടെ നിലപാട്.
