Hey PoolPartyers!

We are pleased to announce version 1.2 of PoolParty. We have been
working tirelessly to make 1.2 a stable release.

We now have a git repository (http://github.com/jashmenn/poolparty-examples/tree/master
) of working and tested examples for deployments, thanks to jashmenn
(Nate). Additionally, we are completing our own Eucalytpus cluster and
will be running constant integration tests against all the example
deployments, thanks to fairchild (Michael). We also have a new
continuous integration server setup here: http://ci.poolpartyrb.com/.

We now support vmware fusion as a remoter base and will be doing
additional work to solidify the vmware as a deployment solution (it's
invaluable for testing). We will soon support libvirt as a remoter
base library, as well.

Finally, the website: http://poolpartyrb.com has been updated with
information and current documentation (thanks to Nate again). Check it
out! It's spiffy.

1.2 features and notes:
• VMWare remoter base
• Added verify blocks to run verifications on the launch
• Default plugins now include apache and haproxy
• Added callbacks for all clouds, plugins and services (before/
after_configure, before/after_bootstrap, before/after_launch_instance)
• More PoolParty extensions available at http://github.com/auser/poolparty-extensions/tree/master
• And more!

As always, we are on irc.freenode.net / #poolpartyrb.

Looking forward to 1.2.1!

Ari Lerner and the CloudTeam
