There also seems to be a standard for levels of feces in the final product.
One thing that is critical to composting is the time. We will need to be clever about this system if we intend it to be usable for festivals less than a day. Maybe the waste can be easily removed from the base and transferred into a large container that will continue the composting process.

I also found a few direct contacts for Johnny on the Spot through LexisNexis this morning, before their server went down.  Once we can poke around more on there, hopefully we can find a whole bunch of people to contact.  and then we have to figure out what we want to ask them...

Also, we made the delicious account to organize everything, but feel free to keep emailing stuff out to actually draw everyone's attention to it.  This one organization, www.psai.org, might be a valuable resource and Eric and I emailed them this morning asking for any literature or guidance they might have.
