Hello,
On localhost, it sends an email to my Gmail address without any problem as it is — with the Pony.options block commented out.

When deployed to Heroku, it gives me:

> Errno::ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused - connect(2) for "localhost" port 25

as accessed by heroku logs.

Please point me in the right direction — I've spent more than a week looking for the solution at this point.

Thanks,
James

James,

Thanks for using pony, sorry you're having trouble with it. That error message suggests that the mailgun environment variables aren't set.

This page describes how to view those variables, can you confirm that the mailgun variables are listed?

If they're not present, confirm the add-on is installed or contact heroku support.

Thanks

Thanks Ben —

the environment vars are set but are pointing to a Mailgun sandbox domain for some reason. I'll have to take it up with the support.

Cheers,
James
