I have a Xerox Phaser 3215. It is connected via Wi-Fi and was working fine. All of a sudden I could no longer scan or print (wirelessly). I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. The printer is discoverable (my computer sees it), but the printer will not connect.

If it passes the ping test please remove the current driver and reboot your laptop and reinstall using the information in this installing driver information from an article in the online support for your product.

Make sure you install the drivers for the correct operating system. For example, if you're using Windows 10 64-bit, install the drivers designed for that specific version of Windows. Many of these errors are caused by attempting to install the wrong drivers for a device. One way to be sure you're getting the right driver is to use a free driver updater tool.
If you see a code 31 error, restart your PC, undo recent changes in the Device Manager, and roll back the malfunctioning driver to a prior version. If you still have trouble, delete the UpperFilters and LowerFilters registry values.
Update or reinstall the drivers for the malfunctioning device, then restart your computer. If a USB device is generating the code 39 error, uninstall every device under the Universal Serial Bus controllers hardware category in the Device Manager, then properly reinstall the drivers.
