From reading some feedback regarding batteries plus, I can only assume that I screwed myself by getting a NON apple battery replacement on my phone. I have been trying to update the IOS 17 and it just doesn't do it.
What If I had a apple battery put back in would I be ok? Or am i reading this correctly that apple wont touch my phone? And worse than that my phone is worthless on a trade-in now and its in really good condition. I have an 12 Pro Max
Biggest mistake I ever made getting a battery from Batteries Plus for my iphone. My phone never updated again, crashes and when you want to trade it in, the $450 trade-in value now just went down a boat load. I should of just went to apple for another battery. To boot I paid over $130 for the battery plus battery non-apple certified.
Apple will replace the battery in an iPhone 5, which was released in 2012. That covers any iPhone release in the last 11 years. How far back do you expect Apple to keep parts for old devices on their shelf?
Apple will replace the battery in phones as old as the iPhone 5, which was discontinued 10 years ago. Even if they still worked on the iPhone 4, that model won't even operate on most carriers in the world since 3G is no longer.
Batteries Plus should advise iphone customers of the consequences of using their after market batteries. In this complex world of ours no one can be expected to know all the rules. If BP knows their batteries won't work like Apple batteries, they should should advise the public in order to be truthful in selling their alternate product.
Batteries Plus does not use genuine Apple batteries as a replacement. This is why you are having issues with your battery. There is not much you can do now that a third party repair shop has opened up your phone, Apple will not touch it.
You can certainly take your iPhone to Apple and be honest about having the battery replaced and acknowledge you now know it was a mistake and see if they would be willing to replace the battery. But they may refuse and only Apple or an actual Authorized Apple Service Provider have access to genuine Apple Batteries.
Apple does not seem to have a repair shop in my city, a repair shop that is authorized to replace an iphone battery. It is the state capital of Missouri. Is it a mistake to purchase an iphone in Jefferson City, MO?
Hello everyone!
Like a lot of people before, I am using a D1 mini pro with a DHT22 temperature/humidity sensor shield.
As long as I power the D1 mini via USB, everything works fine.
Now I am trying to fit the boards into a case, add a battery pack for outdoor use.
Unfortunately, when I connect the D1 Mini with battery voltage, it won't boot, (blue led blinking, Tasmota connecting to Wifi).
I have a 4xAA battery pack giving 6.3 V. I tried it with 3xAA which gives 4,7V, to no avail.
When I connect with battery plus to the 5V pin and the battery minus with the GND pin, I can even measure 3.3 V at the 3V3 Pin, so the voltage regulator seems to work.
Any ideas, why it is not working?

Excellently made product of cast aluminum and very strong... My only complaint is there was not much mention of the fact that you also need the XL tripod tablet holder to finish the job... but the showcased image of the LifThor mount "shows" the whole settup for $102 as if it all comes together and all you then need to to is hook up the necessary calbes (including the soecific USBc to HDMI adaptor cable and red HDMI to mini HDMI) and your done! Not true! You need to purchase that holder piece for about $19 plus shipping... THEN your set! But to me it's bad representation sho8bg a picture of a "mounted" tablet conjlnectec to the $102 part that nicely attaches to the RC Pro controller.... therefore... you either need to show a different picture... OR clealy state that the tablet holder piece is NOT included for the $102 and is separately sold and how to include and purchase it to create a complete set! Fair enough?
