July 26, 2019
Dear Fellow NMR Researchers,
It is with great pleasure that I would like to announce that the 2019 meeting of the CANMRDG will be held on the campus of the University of Wisconsin, Madison with John Markley and Katherine Henzler-Wildman as local hosts. The meeting will be held on Saturday, November 2. An added feature of this year’s meeting is that Jeff Hoch from the University of Connecticut, along with John and Katherine, are planning to host a workshop on NMRbox on the preceding day, Friday, November 1. We invite you to plan to attend both events.
The CANMRDG keynote speakers will be Frank Delaglio, who will discuss his work with antibody therapeutics, and Ann McDermott, who will give a presentation on her work with protein structure and dynamics. As most of you know, the remainder of the program will be made up of local industrial and academic scientists. Generally, we will solicit talks of 15 minutes from students and 20- to 30-minute talks from Midwest industrial and academic NMR spectroscopists. In addition, the meeting will include a poster session. More details about both the CANMRDG and NMRbox workshop will be sent as they become available.
This mailing is the first call for papers for the 2019 meeting. Please register your proposed talk title and time needed on the website. You can read more about our meeting and register at www.chem.purdue.edu/canmrdg/.
We are most grateful to our current CANMRDG Sponsors, Pfizer, Inc. and Jeol, USA. For information about becoming a sponsor, please email Joe Ray at gjr...@uic.edu.
