Oncethe booster is there, just mount and link it to the Tempest. Our systems will detect it and add your upgrade in the priority list. For now I see your Tempest is still ok regarding battery charge.
You can drill a hole in your current pole mount. Just start with a small bit and work up or use a step bit. The rubber seal goes all the way across the top so starting with a large bit can cause it to grab when it finally goes through the rubber. A step bit worked better. After getting the upper hole the right size, I used a knife to cut out the rubber from the hole and finished with a large bit for the plastic of the pole stop below the top. Worked just fine.
Today I installed the Power Booster on my sun-challenged Tempest. I was worried at first because even though the Tempest was at 2.71v, it started increasing after the installation. Maybe I was getting some charging from the solar cell even though it was late in the day for my site. ( with leaves gone I can live on solar charging January to March)
Yes, the PB is being used with batteries. I am not going to have time to check the PB firmware until later in the week. Sorry. It will be Thursday before I will have an opportunity unless I can make time in the next hour or two.
Hi, I have a question if there is the latest driver. System firmware for the Acer Aspire F5-573G model, I ask because once when I updated Driver Booster drivers, I got a version from last year's updating I installed it on my computer and it worked fortunately, so that's why my question
According to the log, we find that Driver Booster has been uninstalled and we can't figure out what happened. If you are willing to help us with the investigation, could you please reinstall Driver Booster and run a scan? You don't need to update the driver and run the getinfo tool. After we receiving the log, we can have an analyze.
Before updating the driver, I updated the BIOS, it was in version 1.28 and I updated it to 1.42 on Acer Aspire F5-573G and I am looking for the latest BIOS version for my laptop model, I mean the system driver, is there a firmware for this laptop model??
I found some system firmware updates my question is where to find the documentation for this file because it has already disappeared from Microsoft's websites and I would like to make sure that this update fits my Acer Aspire F5-573G hardware
To check the adapter firmware version of your adapter, attach any Canon EF lens to the adapter and put it on a Sony E-Mount camera body. Press the 'MENU' button and choose the last tab on newer cameras or the 'Setup' icon on older cameras. Find the 'Version' function in the list.
Only Smart Adapter Mark IV, Smart Adapter Mark V, Speed Booster ULTRA, Speed Booster ULTRA II, Contax N to Sony E-Mount Smart Adapter and Contax N to Sony E-Mount Speed Booster ULTRA support downloadable firmware updates by the end-user. For Smart Adapter Mark I, Mark II, Mark III and the original Speed Booster, firmware update is by factory service only. Contact Metabones customer service for details. There may be a nominal shipping and handling charge.
Use a Mac with macOS 10.13.6 or above, or a PC running Windows 8.1, Windows 10 or Windows 11. Note: Metabones App may not run properly on Mac with two or more monitors connected. If you encounter difficulties disconnect one of the monitors.
if you want to get a true boost in power when accelerating or braking than torquetilt is very effective. It actually gets the job done really well and I can actually measure higher currents being delivered when trying to taildrag or nosedrag and it becomes much harder to do so.
The way boost is currently designed, I consider it to be another PID loop on top our main loop, except it only has a proportional component and it only acts in one direction. When you reach the boost angle (setpoint), more current is added according to the boost ramp and boost current which makes up our proportional factor.
The only other thing I think is worth considering before eliminating boost: Is there any effect on very high pitch differential situations? Current spikes that are higher than the max continuous current happen often but just for a few milliseconds. Does the booster contribute to these spikes so that they happen at an earlier pitch angle? Does this allow for better board stability in rough situations?
The key is though that anything you do with booster can also be achieved by other config options. And the most important benefit that you would expect from booster is that it would prevent taildrags if configured accordingly yet booster fails miserably at achieving that.
Concerning tail drags, that is interesting but I have not investigated the braking functions in general. The braking feels good to me. Very linear and it acts harder when I press the tail faster. I avoid tail drags by pressing harder and faster. If I ease into it, it will drag.
It seems to me that if brake boost is doing nothing we might investigate an alternative way to affect braking. One idea is a modified PID for just braking. Another thought is to change the brake amp limiting is some way.
We have a LEGO BOOST kit. When going through the initial setup, we get as far as connecting the move hub to the tablet and then it asks if we want to do a firmware update. There is no option other than 'OK'. The light on the hub flashes pink briefly and then goes out. The progress bar doesn't progress, and then it reverts back to the screen asking us to turn the hub back on.

Sky Broadband products get their firmware updates automatically in batches from Sky, there is no mechanism to update it manually and therefore no practical mechanism to check the current firmware of a booster.
If you log in to your router and look at the attached devices you should see an I.P. address for the Sky Booster. Enter that address into a web browser and it should reveal the details of the booster including the firmware version.
Hello, I'm a Telus tech.
Currently the T3200 doesn't support the Boost directly but with the upcoming firmware change or replacement modem you will be able to use the two pack as additional boosters but until then you have to hardware one.
If you have an ethernet run in your house you can place the first in a better location.
I had to redo my local network yesterday, and as such had to add my 3 wifi boosters again. One had to be hardwired, and 2 additional were synced wirelessly. When using the local networking between my computers, one directly connected to the actiontec t3200 and the other computer connected via the wifi booster, I am acheiving local transfer speeds of 475mbps. Very satisfying in my opinion. I read long ago, that the wifi boosters were limited to 144mbps transfers, but when one of your devices is connected to the actiontec t3200, the speeds are much greater, all within the local networking, no internet.
