The kindle dictionary version is an English to Egyptian Arabic dictionary. This is particularly usefulfor Egyptians who read English e-books: if you make this your current english dictionary, touching on a word will show you the meaning in Egyptian arabic.

The kindle e-book version combines English to Egpytian and Egyptian to English dictionaries, the Thesaurus and Verbs. Each word in the dictionary is linked to the corresponding entry in the Thesaurus and vice versa, and Dictionary and Thesaurusentries link to the verb entries. It also contains an introduction to Arabic writing.

There are two dictionary sections: one is for English to Egyptian Arabic and the other is for Egyptian Arabic to English. Each dictionary is preceded by an index, so that youcan quickly find the word that you are looking for. The Egyptian to English dictionary has two indexes- one in European writing and the other in Arabic writing.

The thesaurus provides listings of words with similar or related meanings: for example, there is an entire category for different types of fruits. You can find a category either by following a link in the dictionary, or by looking at the category index at thebeginning of the Thesaurus.
