Greetings fellow Taggart family members,

I am really enjoying the GWT web pages and hope to have one for my own Taggart family somwday. I hope also
to have a worldwide Taggart family web page. My name is Robert Lynn Taggart and some ofyou may recognize
me as the Taggart who has written you requesting Taggart family information. This isbecause I am researching all
of the Taggarts world- wide. I have so far accumulated about two hundred Taggart membersof the GWT family
which I am placing into a large family drawing that I hope to be able to present at thenext reunion. I am currently
in the process of redoing the drawing since there have been so many changes and additions.Hope to meet some
of you this year.

Bob Taggart

Hi, Bob Taggart again. I'm still working on the display chart and working drawing of theGWT family. These
drawings by the way contain only Taggarts. I was wondering if there was one single pointof contact I could email
to for information to fine tune the family tree chart. This would be for missing info suchas middle names etc? I can
be reached at tagg...@nic.mil and thanks in advance for any help. Right now in it'spresent form the chart has
180 Taggarts on it.

Dear Taggart Family, this is a fun thing, to have a family page. I gave some picturesto my son, David, who will scan them, whatever that means, so you can see the St. Louis24th July parade, with a covered wagon for GWT even tho the name got spelled wrong again!,Also the Mormon Batallion etc., Hope they come across and you like them.Doris Collet,Charles Wallace GWT,Fanny

It is a relief to have a simple, quick way of sharing information and gettingacquainted. In 3 days, thanks to Rick and Sherm, I have received PBs for 5 differentancestors, some of whom received more than one. The work it takes to get and transcribethem should only have to be done once. Thanks! Is there a way to verify or fill out familygroup sheets via this site? ATC

This is so gratifying!! i can't help but think how very please our gg granparents wouldbe to see that we are such a close family and continue to uphold the Taggart Banner; andproudly!! Our congratulations to Eileen for a wonderfully well written Biography of GeorgeWashington Taggart. It is a great addition to the Taggart Family histories. Along with thebiographies we have for the "beloved wives," it makes their story more complete. We look forward to seeing more of these. It might be a good project to see something likethis developed and posted for each of George Washington's fourteen surviving children [weknow he had 16 but only 14 lived to adulthood].

It should be a cooperative effort to undertake these works, but I think Eileen might bea good focal point to coordinate and evaluate such an effort by others interested incontributing information on their GWT child ancestor. What do you think?

Came directly to this Web page after reading about it in the recent Family Newsletter.I'm most impressed. What a grand job and immense undertaking. Congratulations to ourfamily for being able to enjoy such a resource and many thanks to those of you who laboredto to create it.

My wife, Virginia, and I were pleased to find this George Washington Taggart "WebPage" with so much information available to us. We are looking forward to attendingthe reunion in Cody, Wyoming for our first time this year. My Uncle "Doc"Goodrich and his wife, Doris will be attending. Other members from his family will bethere too. We are looking forward to making some new friends and learning more about ourfamily history.

We were reading the family newsletter and then looked it up on the net. I am related onthe Fanny Parks side. This is just great. My granddaughter is doing genealogy in schoolright now and this has been helpful. Lorna Scott, Johansen, Bowman, Taggart.

I am immensely happy that the Taggart family now has a website. It is a"quality" page and I am going to send the address to my other cousins who arenot included in the Taggart family listings. Thanks for all the work that you put intothis. Dixie Lee Davis (Klis-Leora-Julia-Clarissa) e-mail address: con...@rapidnet.com

What a monumental undertaking, and one which is so very appreciated by us here inSpokane, Washington. As a daughter of George Taggart Frost , who passed away in January of1996, I was raised with an extreme pride and love for the Taggart name and family members. It is absolutely wonderful to have such a resource as this website with which we mightshare even more family memorabilia. I look forward to visiting often, and extend my offerof help in whatever way I might be of service. Thank you so much! My love to all youTaggarts out there! I think it's great way to get a hold of this information on George Washington Taggart.Although my parents have a lot of genealogy and other family information, this is anexcellent way to obtain this information for me and my young family. Sincerely, Jon D.Taggart 111 College Hill St. #73 Cheney, WA 99004 E-mail: jtag...@ewu.edu

The site is great. I was asked by my family members to attempt to find this site andsend them all registration forms. Couldn't find you through Yahoo but infoseek got mehere. It was fun reading the comments from all my relatives--some I've met, some I've onlyheard of, and some I don't know at all. I'm representing the Francis side of this hugefamily. Maggie Clarissa Taggart married Walter Samuel Francis and these are ourgrandparents. We gathered in Cody last summer and spent time with some Taggart relatives. Some of us would like to join you this August. Until then, Kathy Anderson, Joan Johnson,Sally Cook, Ruth Brunker, Frank Rounds, & Lee, Bill, John, George, Kent and JamesFrancis. Aunts Beth, Marie, & Irene would also like to say hi to all you Taggarts.

This website was refered to me by Paul Eddy Taggart of N. Ogden, Ut. I'm not a Taggart, but am blessed with the fortune of knowing Paul and his family. I'm proud of myassociation with such wonderful people, and impressed by the presentation of this website.BLESS ALL TAGGARTS!!! R.L. Kluge, Salt Lake City.

My wife Ila and I are here the the USU library with Steve and Judy Taggart. Steve isintroducing us to the internet and we wish to commend you on your wonderful work as ourWebmaster in putting all this information about our Taggarts on the website in such abeautiful and and informative way. You have our most sincere thanks and appreciation. Ourlove and God bless, Spence Taggart

Being very nearly computer-illiterate, I was impressed with myself for being able toget to the Taggart web-site. Once there, I was even more impressed with the wealth ofinformation about my Taggart ancestors that you folks have made available to all of us.It's exciting!

My wife, Virginia, and I would like to compliment all of the Taggart family membersinvolved in organizing the "Taggart Family Reunion" in Cody, Wyoming this year. The work that went into it's success was obvious to each of us in attendance, and we areindeed appreciative. It was enjoyable visiting with the many family members, renewing oldfriendships and establishing new family ties. We will look forward to being at the nextreunion.

If it is possible to obtain a Taggart family directory, listing member telephonenumbers, their e-mail address and line back to George Washington Taggart, we wouldcertainly like to purchase one. Perhaps ways of publishing of a family directory could beplaced on your agenda.

I think it would be nice if there were an "optional" area on the web pagewhere we could input our address info and get that of everyone else. I am not sure how tokeep the data within the "family" so to speak, but would like to have morecontact with other members of our extended family, especially since I am unable to attendmost of the reunions.

My name is Mary Taggart Gaddy. I have explored this web page today, and I'm hoping toprove that James Taggart, who married Elizabeth Parsons in 1805 in Randolph Co., Va. (W.Va.) is a brother to George Washington Taggart, son of James Taggart and Elizabeth McNee.Any information? My address: 1630 Ritterskamp Ave. Vincennes, IN 47591 Enjoyed the pagevery much.

My name is Jean Taggart Caldwell and I had the pleasure of being in Cody at the time ofthe reunion and meeting some of the Taggarts there. I have had e-mail from Brad Taggartand have responded but message was not delivered The web page is well done and veryinteresting and informative. Thanks for sharing it with our side of the family.
