PolyPhy is an unconventional software toolkit for reconstructing complex network structures from spatial data. PolyPhy is mainly written in Python and relies on the massive parallelism of GPUs to deliver interactive simulation and in-situ visualization of the reconstructed data.

PolyPhy has been started by a group of computational researchers at University of California in Santa Cruz under the support of the Open Source Program Office therein. It is rooted in biology and astrophysics, and connects to other distinct areas of domain expertise.

This mailing list is used to report on development news, new features as well as community aspects of the project. You can expect about one email per week - if that goes up we will diversify the groups and notify you about any changes to keep the information flow manageable.

Here's a roundup of resources if you'd like to learn more or engage with the project.
