It's not a problem, yet. But I really want Polymer to be successful, and if it does become successful, there's going to be lots of versions of lots elements from lots of people composed in lots of ways. The potential for conflicting names increases the more successful Polymer is. Id like to contribute something called PolyComp (https://github.com/phestermcs/polycomp), that would ideally be consumed into Polymer proper at some point, that essentially guarantees conflicting element names will never prevent elements from being used together, and does so without everyone having to create and use multi-hyphenated element names. I would greatly appreciate any feedback or show of interest/support, in order to determine how much additional effort I should invest. If there's even the smallest of reasonable interest and support, I'll will then do all I can to ensure PolyComp is fully integrated both technically and socially.
Regards,
Paul Hester
