file protocol in firefox

Was not able to load polymer application using file protocol in firefox, upgraded to latest version of firefox, did not work.
Deleted profile and recreated firefox profile and it worked...

For security, HTML imports cannot be served from file:// and the polyfill uses XHR to load the imports. You'll need to start a web server.
