I've implemented the bootstrap dialog as a web component if anyone's interested:
No jquery dependency. Much less javascript too.
Just got a job on a greenfield project where I have full control over the front end, so I get to play with Polymer every day.
I've been wishing I could build web apps this way for years...finally!

Hey Chris:

Wanted to try out your component...  but without a modal.css file, nothing displays.
Also, an example of usage would be helpful.

Thanks,

Jonathan Dodd

Hi Jonathan, sorry 'bout that! I've fixed that and updated the repo with a usage example file and a little bit of documentation.

You could provide a live using the gh-pages branch and also register your element on bower since you already have the bower.json file in your repo.

$ bower register [app name] [git endpoint]

Hi Zeno, I just registered it on bower. Thanks for the syntax, saved me a trip to google. Did you mean: provide a live example using the gh-pages branch? I'll do that.
