I managed to get the CKEditor v4.4.7 working as a Polymer element using Polymer 0.5.5. It works great with Firefox 36 and Safari 8.0.3, but it isn't working correctly in Chrome 40. (All browsers were tried on Mac OS X 10.10.2.) I put this together as a standalone project on Github for easy testing: https://github.com/kfox/polymer-ck-editor

The error I get is "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'unselectable' of null". It sounds similar to some other bugs reported against CKEditor in the past, but I'm not sure why it would only be failing on Chrome.

Basically, I want to figure out if this is a problem with the CKEditor, with Polymer, or with Chrome. Can anyone here help me figure out what's really going on so I can report it as a bug to the correct project?

Firefox 36 vs Chrome 40:

Thanks!
Kelly

My hunch is since native Shadow DOM works in Chrome (but none of the other browsers) that it's probably trying to poke at some element element in the Shadow DOM somewhere in the process and ending up with nothing
