I hope these are modern web-component-based ad-widgets utilising the polymer framework so as to show off the awesomeness of polymer; else what would be the point of running adverts on the site if not to show off polymer itself?! </troll>

Daniel, as you can clearly see here, you have nothing to worry about (source).

The sample ads are neatly componentized into a table within a containing table whose owner document is encapsulated by an iframe.

Furthermore, the ad widgets do utilize the polymer framework as evidenced by some simple logic:

1. One definition of "polymer" is "a product of polymerization"
2. One definition of "polymerization" is "the conversion of one compound into another by [the process of forming a polymer]"
3. Ergo, a polymer is "a product of the conversion of one compound into another by the process of forming such a product"
4. We can reduce this to "a product of the process of converting one compound into another"
5. One definition of "compound" is "something formed by combining elements"
6. The ad widgets are formed by combining tables and iframes
7. Tables and iframes are elements
8. Thus, their widgets are products of the process of converting one compound into another
9. Ergo, the ad widgets can be described by a polymer framework
