Issue with core-list selection resetting when resizing.

Hey

I don't know if you guys are aware of this. There seems to be a issue with core-list selections being reset when resizing. I have had a quick look at the issue list and couldn't see it mentioned.

I got around the issue by quickly modifying initialize to check if its a resize operation and prevent _clearSelection() from executing. I am not sure what side effects this might have but seems to be maintaining selections across resize etc
