HI,
any updates on timeline and roadmap for  Polymer Designer (2) . There haven't been updates on the repo for quite some time . Wondering about the future of it

Cheers, Mike

Hi, I am interested in this as well - Also, is there an alternative visual designer out there?

Thanks

Looks like the last commits were back in December: https://github.com/Polymer/designer

I'm very interested in Polymer Designer 2 as well. Especially using it as an embedded WYSIWIG editor for composing with web components (based on Polymer or otherwise).

Best,
Milan

As you can see on the git activity, there's not much happening on Designer 2.0 at the moment.

Right now we're focusing on our other tools and making sure that we have a great developer experience across all the tools, and consolidating them into a few more easily accessible offerings. This is some of the highest priority work we have in 2016 because it impacts all of our users.

I'm very eager to get Designer work started again, it's very important to the team and me personally, but it's a matter of priority and time at the moment.

Cheers,
  Justin

Thanks for the update. A kind of a design experience is essential for the adoption of the technology. a Wysiwyg is nothing special as u know. However I hope that u guys have the right priorities

Cheers, Mike

as a product designer having an updated Designer tool is critical. For me, its the only way to really learn and use the Polymer framework for our projects.
