Does polymer handle the infamous 300ms delay?

I noticed polymer packaged in phonegap seem much slower on ios than android any comments on this?

It does if you use the gesture library. For example, instead of on-click use on-tap.

'on-tap' doesn't work on Mac Safari. Is there a graceful workaround for this?

Can you be more specific about how the tap event is not working for you?
Can you file a github issue with stepa to reproduce the issue? Ideally a very small sample app that demonstrates what you're seeing.
