Hi,

I am a bit of a newbie so please forgive me.

When I download the zipped version of core-input from the polymer website I see support for the committedvalue attribute but when I download using bower the version does not include the committedvalue attribute. I have the following questions:
  1. how do I determine which is the more current version?
  2. assuming the zip file is more current than the bower version is there a way to get the more current version with bower? -- I have tried the -f switch on bower update but this didn't seem to help.
  3. if I want to use the zip version how do I merge this with the rest of the polymer components. The zip file includes a number of other files than the core-input files which I assume are dependencies.
Any help is of course much appreciated even if it is to point out my own errors.

Hey Will,

The Bower download zipper always pulls from master, so it's always the latest version. It basically runs the equivalent of:

    bower install Polymer/core-input#master

You can run the same to download the latest from github. What's on the website is the latest tagged release (0.4.2). I agree it's confusing and something we need to fix.
