Using Polymer for the first time

Hi,

I am really interested in using your templates for my website. However I am new to this and don't know how to use your website. I downloaded you templates (paper-dialog) and when I went to demo.html, I wasn't able to see the project working. Can you tell me the step by step process to use your website?

Are you running the demo from a local web server? Something like http://localhost:8000, or did you just double click demo.html to open it

Rather than jump straight into Polymer it may be a good idea to take a look at Web Fundamentals. It's our guide to building sites and apps for the modern web. It'll be easier to follow Polymer after you've covered the content there.
